Abstract

Though HCI acknowledges that critical perspectives like intersectionality are necessary for social justice, many researchers still struggle to apply these frameworks in the actual design of technology. This paper works to bridge that gap.

Drawing on Black feminist thought, the author offers concrete guidance for moving intersectionality from abstract theory into design practice.
